Unfortunately, there is no LCBI Bisons roster in the 2021 season.

Another school year has started back up, and with it comes another season of high school football in Outlook.

Although history has shown that Outlook has had two teams to cheer on, the Blues from Outlook High School and the Bisons from LCBI, that won't be the case in the 2021 season.  There was not enough interest on the LCBI side of things to draw together their own team, so instead, interested players will now join the OHS roster across town, making for a combined roster that joins the two schools together out on the field.

The Blues football team this year is coached by Lloyd Tulp and the roster got things underway with their first practice on August 25.  The team will hope to get their game together by the time the season begins, with the Conference 6 games beginning on Thursday, September 9.  This year, Outlook plays alongside teams from Clavet, Biggar, Plenty, and Rosetown, and for the hometown Blues, the action starts on Friday, September 24 when the team plays host to Rosetown starting at 4:00.

The Blues will then play host once again a week later on October 1 against Biggar, and then venturing to Plenty the following Friday on October 8 for an away game.

In other football news in town, Outlook Minor Sports is starting up a flag football program offered to kids who will be five years old and up before January 1, 2022.

The program will consist of small teams with kids grouped into similar ages and will be kept at a local level to start, though a few games may be played if there are other teams around and there is sufficient interest.  The deadline to register kids for the program is September 3 at a cost of $50.
