OUTLOOK - Some of the community's youngest players to hit the ice hosted a hockey tournament this past weekend.
The Under-9 Outlook Ice Hawks hosted an all-day tournament on Saturday, December 7, welcoming a number of visiting teams to the Jim Kook Rec Plex. Splitting the ice rink in half allowed for two games apiece to take place simultaneously, giving family and visitors plenty of action to take in over the course of the day.
In addition to the two Outlook rosters, differed by team colours White and Black, the tournament also brought the Saskatoon Redwing Heat, Warman Cheetahs, Warman Leopards, Delisle Bruins, Aberdeen Flames, and Battlefords Barons to the rink and saw the action kick off at 9:00 am and go all day, with the championship rounds beginning at 5:00 pm and wrapping up with game finals at 6:15.
The conclusion of the day saw the Ice Hawks Black team win the 'B' Final, and all parents and coaches commended all the kids for playing hard during the day's games.
The Under-9 Outlook Ice Hawks Black roster is comprised of Judah Witter, Jade Dubyk, Henry Bang, Ryan Wall, Allie Derdall, Dawson Skaalid, Harlow Grunerud, Joey Van Melick, Logan Pienaar, Knox Sayers, Amber Dubyk, and Hudson Hauberg.
The Under-9 Outlook Ice Hawks White roster is comprised of Nathan McAdam, Trafton Erixon, Lochlan McIntosh, Konnor Siemens, Easton Solnicka, Cullen Erixon, Wren Ponto, Lainey Erlandson, Jacyn Lavoie, James Austin, Jayden Kim, and James Henderson.
