SHHS wins one vs. Nipawin
When the Yorkton City Senior Girls basketball tournament started Friday afternoon, Trent Senger said he didn't have much in the way of expectations going in. Senger has more experience coaching then all of his players combined, have playing the game.

Meadow Lake women's team wins top prize
Robyn Silvernagle, Sasha Yole, Dayna Demmans and Cristina Goertzen all made the trip to Yorkton over the weekend representing Meadow Lake and went undefeated in a local cashspiel over the weekend.

Two members of the Yorkton Terriers earned Player of the Month honours for November in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Veteran Devin Peters earned Goaltender of the Month, and defenceman Davis Vandane has been awarded Rookie of the Month.

The winners of the LDM Atom Tier II tournament were as follows. The 'A' Division winners were Brandon 9A Wheat Kings. They defeated the Yorkton Kawchuk Construction Terriers 10-2 in the A division final. The 'B' Division winners were Wynyard.

The Rhythmics gymnastics group held their annual Christmas show last Thursday at the Gloria Hayden Community Centre. Fifteen kids ages 5-12 put on a show that they've been working on for a month and a half says coach Carol Antony.
