The AAA Yorkton Harvest pounded Saskatoon 8-0 last Sunday and will be looking to make it two in a row on Jan. 20 when they host the Tisdale Trojans at the Farrell Agencies Arena. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m. Yorkton currently sits one game below .

Sacred Heart and Yorkton Regional High School will be co-hosting a senior basketball tournament at the end of the month, says Sacred Heart coach Garrett Karcha. The games will be called the 1st Annual York City senior boys tournament.

Another gold medal is hanging up in the trophy case at the Yorkton Regional High School. A medal might not be as pretty as a large, shiny, heavy trophy but it serves similar purpose.

Bantam hockey

The bantam AA Terriers hosted the Regina AA Hurricanes January 13 at the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena in what was a low scoring game until the third period. Yorkton took a 1-0 lead into the break and a 3-1 lead into the third period.

The Yorkton Sacred Heart Saints junior girls basketball team took part over the weekend in the Melville Comprehensive School basketball tournament over the weekend.

Frame Tech

The Yorkton Terriers Novice Frame Techs won the A-side championship where they beat Moosomin in a 9-2 win in the final. That came after they beat the Carlet's Terriers 7-3 in the semi finals. The tourney was in Melville.
