The Yorkton United FC enjoyed considerable success this summer at all levels.

The Yorkton Harvest Midget AAA hockey club opened up the 2010-11 season on the road with games in Beardy's and Saskatoon, and came back home with a win and a loss.

The SSFA Parkland Valley District annual meeting will be held on Oct. 27 at 10 a.m., at the Gallagher Centre. The meeting will include the election of officers and the format for the 2011 Games.

Thanks to the partnership of a group of local individuals, and maybe most importantly, the Good Spirit School Division (GSSD), a group of about 31 people, parents and kids combined, will be making a return trip to Orlando, FLA.

It was another good day for Brendon Weber and another good day for the Yorkton Gridders when the Regina Warriors paid one last visit to Kinsmen Century Field Saturday morning in the City of Yorkton.

The 26th Annual Autumn Summit was held at the Saltcoats Regional Park Friday morning. There were 901 runners from 44 different schools in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
