The Yorkton Pee Wee Raider season has gotten off to a bit of a rocky start. The team were in Regina Tuesday for action against the Regina Mustangs dropping a 63-22. The first home game for the Raiders in Regina Minor Football will be Sunday, Aug.

The Bantam Junior Raiders held a practice Friday night at the Yorkton Regional High School. The practice was a final tune-up before heading to Regina Saturday, (Sept. 24) to play Balgonie.

I’m not sure how many local viewers would have been tuning into the recent broadcasts of the Global T20 Canada cricket matches, but I watched a few. It’s not that I was a fan of cricket.
