The YRHS cheer squad competed over the weekend with Balfour Collegiate and Evan Hardy as they took to the road for Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association (SHSAA) cheerleading competition.

Their routine was two and a half minutes long and they've been working on this routine since November.

They received the highest marks for overall routine.

The girls performed really well. All of their stunts went and the girls had great energy and facials.

The judges commented on the clarity and volume of their voices and the height of their tosses.

They were also impressed with their synchronization and cleanliness of their entire routine.

Coach Pandit and Ingham are very proud of the girls who represented the school very well.

This Friday they are heading to the West Edmonton Mall for another competition.

After placing in the University of Regina cheer, the girls will be advancing to the provincials on March 24.
