A total of six track and field athletes from the City of Yorkton as well as the surrounding area participated in the annual Knights of Columbus meet in Saskatoon on January 29-30.
Alexandria Flaman, running up a level in Senior Women, finished fourth in the 1,500m, fifth in the 3,000m and 11th in the 600m.
Kaitlyn Kelly competed in the Bantam Girls category where she finished in seventh place in the High Jump and 11th place in the Triathlon.
Kellie Onda-Inglis also competed in the Senior Women division where she finished seventh in the 600m and ninth in the 300m.
Mikaila Ortynsky also competed in level up in Senior Women and finished seventh overall in both the Shot Put and Weight Throw.
Derek Campbell found the podium twice in the Youth Boys category, winning a silver medal in the 1,500m and a gold in the 3,000m while TJ McBride was the only other Yorkton Legion Track and Field Club member to find the podium. McBride took a bronze medal in the Senior Men 3,000m and a seventh place finish in the Senior Men 1,500m.
