Last weekend, Yorkton played host to a senior men’s and women’s basketball tournament.
Games were held throughout the weekend at both Sacred Heart High School and Yorkton Regional High School.
In the 4th annual men’s draw, the ten teams were the Yorkton Running Rebels, Norquay Knights, Saskatoon, ‘Knuckles Deep’, Melfort, Roblin Misfits, All Kind of Buckets, Yorkton Cobras, Swift Current Stompers and Springside Bloom. This year’s winners were All Kind of Buckets from Regina.
On the women’s side, the four competing teams were Alums, Piece of Schmidt, Hoopsters and The Golden Girls. The championship team was Piece of Schmidt.
