This past weekend the Yorkton Bowl Arena hosted the Zone Singles Competition for the Four Steps to Stardom.
Advancing to Provincials will be bantam bowler Haley Schrader, who will try for a gold medal after capturing a silver medal last year on the bantam girls team. Bantam bowler Matthew Washington will try for another yet another gold medal after last years success with the combo boys team, who he won a gold medal with at last years Provincials.
Senior bowler Abbey Somogyi will also try to capture her first Provincial medal in this, her last year of competition with YBC.
Provincials will take place on March 2 in Saskatoon and the Yorkton Bowl Arena would like to wish them all the best as they try to bring home some gold!
The Yorkton Bowl Arena, Yorkton Five-pin Association & Yorkton bowlers would like to announce that they have raised a total of $1101.41 for the Salvation Army. They would also like to extend their warmest thank yous to everyone who donated any amount of money, regardless as to how large or small the sum was this year.
