Five members of the YRHS wrestling team went to Prince Albert's St. Mary High School over the weekend.

Three of them are going to SHSAA provincials in Regina this weekend.

Dwayne Sangwais, Alex Redwood, Noah Misener, Robert Schuster and Jessica Riffel all wore orange to Prince Albert.

Misener, Schuster and Riffel will all be wearing it to Regina when they leave in two days.

"I have high hopes for all of them," says YRHS wrestling coach Amanda Anderson.

"It's Robert and Noah's first time at provincials," says Anderson.

In Prince Albert last weekend, Sangwais finished in fifth place, Redwood finished in seventh place.

Misener and Schuster both placed in fourth place but in different weight categories. Riffel was the lone top finish. The Gr.11 Raiderette will be the only one making a return trip to the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association wrestling provincial competition.

Anderson also wishes to thank all of those who helped out with the steak night in support of orange wrestling.

She said they were able to raise $700.
