The Whitesand Regional Park Disc Golf Tournament was held Sunday at the park near Theodore.
The event was the final stop on the 2019 edition of the -- Legacy Co-op Cup which had disc golfers accumulating points over four events this fall, Yorkton, Kamsack, Churchbridge and Sunday’s event.
Nick LeClerc of Yorkton took the open division Sunday shooting a crisp minus-five 67 on the 18 tonal course under near ideal fall weather conditions.
Yorkton’s Doug Kerr topped the 50-plus division with a fine minus-two 70, well ahead of Trevor Lyons also of Yorkton. Lyons was a plus-14 86.
In the ladies division Sandy Kerr of Yorkton topped things with a plus-14 86.
The top junior player was Kamsack’s Kade Wishneveski with a minus-one 71.
As the wrap-up event of the Legacy Co-op Tour Series overall results were also announced Sunday.
LeClerc topped the open division accumulating 41 points through the four events based on placings. He took home a Prodigy practice basket for his win.
In the 50-plus division top spot went to Doug Kerr with 57 points. He won a Prodigy backpack and three Prodigy discs.
Sandy Kerr captured the ladies division with 44 points, also taking home a Prodigy backpack and three golf discs.
A Prodigy bag and three discs also went to top player in the junior division, Kade Wishneveski who accumulated 33 points.
