On Saturday, June 8 the Parkland Minor Baseball League had its annual baseball clinic.
The clinic was instructed by our own Yorkton Cardinals of the Western Major Baseball League.
There were 85 baseball players that attended the clinic.
The Parkland Minor Baseball League would like to thank our entire Yorkton Cardinals team and also our two sponsors Richardson and Yorkton Dairy Queen for their support, said Parkland Minor Baseball League President Tom Courville.
"Parents and players were very appreciative of the experience the Cardinals shared with them," he said. "Players will now be able to return to their regular league play and playoffs and apply some of the new skills the Cardinals have shared with them.
Players and families attended the Cardinals vs Weyburn game that evening to watch their new friends play the great game of baseball.
