Action is under way in the2019 13U Baseball Provincial Championship being hosted at the Saltcoats Regional Park this weekend.
The event sees eight teams vying for the provincial title including the Weyburn Beavers and the Â鶹´«Ã½AVey Eagles who faced off on the Richardson Diamond Friday afternoon. The Beavers came out on top of the Eagles 12-1.
The next action for Weyburn will be 11:45 Saturday when they face the host Saltcoats Lakers.
Â鶹´«Ã½AVey meets the Saskatoon Brave Knights at 11:30 Saturday.
In other action Humboldt topped Wawota 12-2 and Lloydminster bettered Gull Lake 11-10.
The tournament wraps up Sunday with the championship game at 3 p.m.
