The Yorkton United U-12 boys’ soccer team - who represented Germany - finished their 2015 World Class Players (WCP) World Cup play with a 5-2 loss to Team Scotland in Regina this past weekend.

Austin Andres and Cole Looft scored for Yorkton United Germany in the loss.

The defeat left United Germany with a 2-2 record after round-robin play with wins against Chile (5-2) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (9-1) and losses to Scotland (5-2) and India (9-1).

The 2-2 record meant that United Germany finished pool play in third place just narrowly missing the playoff round.

The quartet of Justin Adam, Austin Andres, Fardin Azizi and Cole Looft led United Germany in scoring throughout the tournament with three goals each, while Alexander Pollock, Amish Tripathy, Matthew Dietrich, Jon Fetsch and Brett Switzer also scored once in their four games.
