The Terriers are back atop the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Viterra Division.
The return to top spot comes following a two win weekend by the Terriers.
Friday night
Friday night it was all Terriers on the Farrell Agencies Arena ice as they hosted Humboldt.
Yorkton would hold period leads of 2-0 and 4-0, before rounding out a 7-0 win.
Daylan Gatzke, Chase Norrish and Tayler Thompson would each contribute two goals, with Brett Boehm adding the seventh in the win, on a night Bronco netminder Cade Spencer made only 19 saves on 26-shots.
Kale Thomson had the shut-out, his league-leading seventh of the season, facing 33-shots.
Gatzke said while notching a pair is a nice, he is more focused on team success than on what he does on a given night.
"You can't look at individual success as much as team success," he said, adding that the main thing was that his two goals helped the Terriers win.
"I just try to do anything I can to help the team most," he said.
In terms of team success Gatzke said the team refocused after a couple of games where they knew their effort was lacking.
"I think since the little slump we've tried to step back and work on what works for us," he said, adding what works is being ready to give a big effort as a team every night.
"We just stepped back and analyzed what we had to do to have a good 60-minutes."
Terrier head coach Trent Cassan certainly liked the effort Friday.
"It was a real good effort right from the start," he said. "The guys skated hard. They didn't cut corners. They were just very hard to play against (all night)."
Friday the Terriers also kept the pressure on Humboldt, staying active offensively throughout the contest.
"We knew they wouldn't go away in the third, and they didn't," said Cassan, who added that made the late second period marker all the more valuable.
Cassan also liked the team's powerplay, which he said was clicking because they were making good, quick passes, looking for the open man to have a good chance.
And of course Thomson was sharp once again in net, on a night Cassan said the Broncos "had some good powerplay chances."
But Thomson made all the saves, and if he was unable to smother a rebound he made sure it was directed out of trouble, said the Terrier coach.
Cassan said with the exception of one-and-a-half games, Thomson has been steady all season. "He's done it all year," adding his play over the last few games, including two shut outs over Humboldt "just says it all," about his netminder.
Saturday in Wilcox
On Saturday the Terriers headed to Wilcox to face the Notre Dame Hounds.
The two teams traded first period goals, a powerplay marker by Devon McMullen for Yorkton, and Jordan Berger for the host team.
Josh Ellis and Brady Norrish made it 3-1 Yorkton with the only goals of the second period.
Dillon Schwartzen-berger put the Hounds back into the game with a goal 17-seconds into the third, but that would be it for the Hounds as Thomson shut the door the rest of the way on a night he faced 32-shots for the win.
Ellis would add an empty netter for his second of the night to complete a 4-2 Terrier win.
Alexi Thibaudeau was in the Notre Dame nets for the loss facing 31-shots.
The Terrier record sits at 29-11-2-4 for 64 points the same as Melville, but the Terriers hold the Viterra Division lead based on their edge in head-to-head action with the Millionaires. Yorkton also holds a game in-hand on Melville.
Estevan sits third with 51-points, while Weyburn has 41.

The Terriers head to Melville Friday for yet another instalment of the 'Highway 10 Rivalry' before hosting the same Millionaires at the Farrell Agencies Arena Saturday.
While refusing to put added emphasis on the set, in spite of it being against the team Yorkton has battled for top spot in the division all season, Cassan did say he expected "intense" games as is always the case between the Highway 10 rivals, adding with a smile "they'll be fun."
Yorkton also has a home game hosting Humboldt Tuesday.
