In Friday鈥檚 match up, the Terriers had their fair share of chances to put the puck in the net, but they just couldn鈥檛 make it happen.聽

Head coach/GM Casey O鈥橞rien agreed.聽

鈥淚t seemed like everything went their way and nothing went our way,鈥 he said.

鈥淲e had a couple of breakaways in the first five minutes of the game. If we had of scored on one of those, it鈥檚 a totally different ball game.鈥

Despite the losses, the coach remained optimistic.

鈥淚t鈥檚 early in the year,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e did have a good weekend last weekend.鈥

He also added that the games allowed the coaching staff the chance to see some things they need to work on with their players.聽

With the SJHL showcase underway in Saskatoon this week, it鈥檒l be a busy few days for the Terriers. O鈥橞rien is hoping to find the chance to fix a few things on the ice as the week goes on.

During the showcase in Saskatoon, the Terriers face the Humboldt Broncos and the Melfort Mustangs. Showcase games will be counted as regular season games.聽

Next weekend, things are back to normal in the league. The Terriers will play a two-game series against Estevan. The first game will be at Affinity Place in Estevan on Friday, and the second will be in Yorkton at the F.A.A. on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Since the Bruins eliminated the Terriers from playoff quarterfinals last season, it鈥檚 sure to be an interesting and well fought series.聽
