The Health Foundation Road Race is featuring Learn to Run clinics each Tuesday and Thursday evening at 5:45 p.m., at the YRHS parking lot.
The City of Yorkton is providing wakeboard lessons next month at York Lake. Cost per person is $60 and dates are July 5-7 and it runs all day. All payments and registration must be made with Stephanie Lockhart by phone at (306) 828-2401.
The Western Major Baseball League is back for another season. The league schedule kicked off on Monday night with games in Moose Jaw and Edmonton. The Yorkton Cardinals open up their season tonight when they host Regina. Edmonton won two games with Lethbridge to start the 2011 season at 2-0, Moose Jaw is at 1-0 following their win over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets.
