They head to Kindersley and North Battleford for games tonight and tomorrow night. They return home on Saturday night for a date with the Notre Dame Hounds. Puck drop is slated for the Farrell Agencies Arena at 8 p.m.


The UCT Bantam Yorkton Terriers will be returning home for a game on Sunday afternoon (Dec. 18) when they take on the Regina Hurricanes. Puck drop is slated for 1:30 p.m., at the Farrell Agencies Arena.


The Saskatchewan Women's Curling Tour (SWCT) came to Yorkton for its final stop of the tour. Held over the weekend at the Gallagher Centre, featured 16 women's teams fighting it out for top spot and points in the standings. Michelle Englot of Regina's Tartan Club beat Larissa Murray.


The Yorkton Elementary School Sports Association (YESSA) schedule continues into this week. The group plans to hold its first-ever curling bonspiel. It is scheduled for Friday afternoon at the local curling club. YESSA president Mark Schendel said he is hopiing for another good turnout of young athletes striving for success with a new sport. YESSA is just coming off of its city-wide volleyball tournament which saw nearly 300 students competing. According to YESSA, curling starts at 4 p.m.
