Richardson Pioneer fastball action

In the Richardson Pioneer Men’s Fastball League, the Stoney Creek Braves visited Wadena May 30th and defeated the Wadena Wildcats but fell to the Rosebud Royals.

In the Richardson Pioneer Men’s Fastball League, the Stoney Creek Braves visited Wadena May 30th and defeated the Wadena Wildcats but fell to the Rosebud Royals.

The Braves opened against the Wadena Wildcats and jumped out to an early lead and held on with a 13-5 victory over the young Wadena squad. Braves Ryan Keshane went 4 for 5, while the Braves pitchers Dusty Keshane, Levi Keshane and Austin Keshane kept the Wildcat batters to 5 runs. Wildcat pitchers were Lucas Ochitwa and Nathin Pomedli while Brody Rumbold went 2 for 3 with a walk for the Wildcats.

The winning pitcher was Dusty Keshane.

In their second game the Braves jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the first and added one more in the second for a 3-2 lead. Royal veteran Darin Faubert picked up the Royals bats with a triple in the gap to tie the game. The Royals then took the lead 4-3 and held on through the seventh and final inning. Royals pitcher James Holowaty picked up the win pitching all seven innings keeping the Braves scoreless in the last few innings for the victory. Braves send Rodney Hather and Dusty Keshane to the mound.

The winning pitcher was James Holowaty.
