The YRHS Raiders senior girls volleyball team edged the Saints in the SHHS gym on Oct. 19 to win the seven-team tournament. The Raiders kicked off and ended the tourney by knocking off the Saints. They took the first set 25-23 and the second 32-30 to take the opening match. They then went onto to beat them 25-19 and 25-11 in the finals. In between their matches with the Raiders, the Saints beat Melville, Canora, Esterhazy and Wadena. All in all it was a successful tournament for both Yorkton teams as the Raiders and Saints took first and second respectively.
