Parkland Special Olympics athletes win gold in bocce

This past Saturday, ten athletes from Yorkton and area participated in the annual Special Olympics Regina bocce Tournament at Douglas Park. It was a great, but hot, day. The Parkland athletes did very well.

This past Saturday, ten athletes from Yorkton and area participated in the annual Special Olympics Regina bocce Tournament at Douglas Park.

It was a great, but hot, day. The Parkland athletes did very well.聽

In Division 2 Dustin Miller, Scott Weinheimer, Dustin Sobkow, Kyle Marianchuk and Stacey Pasloski won gold medals.聽

In Division 3 Samantha DeGroot, Krystal Peterson, Cara Spokowski, Kaleb Krakalovich and Mike Schmuck won gold medals.
