The Sacred Heart Saints Jr. Girls basketball team hosted their home tournament this past weekend at the Halo Dome at Sacred Heart High School.
The tournament was a round robin format meaning each team played each other once and the team with the best record at the end of all the games would be named the champion.
Four teams took part in the tournament including the host Saints, the YRHS Jr. Girls, Canora and Esterhazy.
Sacred Heart finished with a 3-0 record and claimed victory thanks to a 34-30 win over Canora, a 34-16 victory over YRHS and a 36-16 win over Esterhazy.
The Jr. Raiders finished second with a 2-1 record with victories over Esterhazy (40-35) and Canora (36-27) while Canora finished third with a 1-2 record thanks to their 36-32 defeat of Esterhazy.
