The end of August in Yorkton means one thing - football season. Saturday marked the beginning of the season for several Yorkton teams as there were three games played at Century Field. The Yorkton Atom Gridders faced the Regina Eskimos in a close match, but Yorkton came out on top with a 35-29 victory. The Yorkton Pee Wee Gridders faced the Regina Razorbacks and fell 28-16. And the Yorkton Regional High School Raider Gridders faced the Regina Eagles and came away with a huge 54-14 win.Â
