Fans in attendance were treated to several high calibre matches that included the Canadian debut of the diminutive but deadly American tag team of Zero Gravity (CJ Esparza and Brett Gakiya), the Saskatchewan debut of Ring of Honor’s ‘Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling’ Silas Young, as well as the Yorkton debut of former WWE tag team champion Charlie Haas.

The night kicked off with long time wrestling fan and local business owner Ron Rurak in the ring thanking everyone for coming out to the wrestling event that was helping him raise money for his fight against cancer.
Rurak was then interrupted rudely by Bullet Club member ‘Crown Jewel’ Chase Owens, who openly expressed his hatred and lack of caring for Rurak, before promising to win the main event battle royal that was to be held in Rurak’s honour.
Following that the wrestling action began with ‘The Hot Prospect’ Travis Cole picked up a huge victory over Yorkton’s own Bull Bodnar.
The debuting team of Esparza and Gayika (Zero Gravity) stunned ‘The Mastermind’ Kevin Cannon and ‘The Rebel’ Bobby Collins (The Cannon Clan) in the second match of the night, while ‘The Last Real Man in Professional Wrestling’ Silas Young and ‘Hotshot’ Danny Duggan put together the match of the night which culminated in Young low blowing Duggan and hitting him with the Pee Gee Waja Plunge for the win.
The fourth match of the night involved former WWE tag team champion Charlie Haas, who had a great match against ‘Crown Jewel’ Chase Owens before Owens, sensing the end was near, rolled out of the ring and left resulting in a count out victory for Haas.
The always intimidating Mr. Inkredible then defeated Jacob Creed much to the delight of the younger wrestling fans in attendance, who supported and cheered the man from the ghetto despite repeated attempts by Inkredible to garner their hatred.
Finally the night wrapped up with Haas besting 11 other men in the over the top rope battle royal, eliminating Owens with a punch to the head for the final elimination before Rurak was asked to return to the ring, only to have Owens berate him again.
Owens then attempted to retreat to the locker room, only to have Danny Duggan, Jacob Creed and Charlie Haas toss him back into the ring where Rurak delivered the final punch to end the night.
CWE will return to Yorkton on Saturday, February 20, for the company’s seventh anniversary tour.
Scheduled to headline the event is independent wrestling sensation Colt Cabana, who has appeared all over the world including on television with the WWE as Scotty Goldman and in Ring of Honor, as well as all the usual CWE stars.
