      The Canora Golf and Country Club held its annual meeting on April 26 at the golf course clubhouse.
           Members were very pleased with the 2016 year financial results, said Gerald Dennis, executive committee chair person, who said he is looking forward to building on that for 2017, both in new memberships and in general play.
           Two board members have left, and Paul Borys has agreed to join as a new board member, said Dennis. Anyone interested in the other board member position is encouraged to leave his or her name and contact information at the clubhouse.
           Peter Stranko will continue as the outside operations manager at the golf course for 2017, and Donna Rock is staying on as the inside operations manager, said Dennis.
           Board members and executive committee members encourage everyone to come out and play, and enjoy this pristine nine-hole golf course and country club with the best view in town.
