      Rebecca Hort and Hudson Bailey, Canora Composite School students, traveled to Regina to participate in the provincial track championships on June 10-11.
           Bailey competed in the bantam boys category, and captured the gold medal in the boys’ high jump with a personal best height of 1.55 metres.
           He placed second in the 800-metre run with another personal best, a time of 2 minutes, 28 seconds, and finished sixth in the long jump with 4.36 metres.Â
           Hort competed in Junior Girls category. She placed 11th in the 100-metre dash with a time of 14.03 seconds, and third in the 400-metre hurdles thanks to a time of 14.03 seconds.
