When the Saskatoon Valkyries hit the field Saturday in Regina against the Riot a familiar face to fans of the Yorkton Lady Gridders will be getting time along the offensive line.

The Board of Directors of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce has announced it will hold its first post-pandemic event Thursday July 22. The Chamber will host a luncheon beginning at noon.

A pair of students from Fort Qu鈥橝ppelle was a part of this year鈥檚 2021 Virtual Heritage Fair winners. A total of 353 students from Grades 4 to 8 produced projects about Saskatchewan or Canadian-based heritage topics.

For 27 years, the Boys and Girls Club in Yorkton has been helping youth through a variety of programs, and now the club that so many have grown up with and participated in is undergoing a change.
