The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Female Student of the Month for April is Dina Lazurko. Dina is a grade 12 student at the Y.R.H.S.She played Blitz Volleyball for 4 years. She also played on both the junior and senior volleyball teams at the Regional.She's been an active member of the curling team for 4 years.Dina is also a member of the archery team.She is a very active student and participated in SRC and the Grad Committee. Dina has also played badminton and basketball. After high school Dina has been accepted to the University of Regina and plans to become an elementary school teacher. Congratulations Dina!
The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Male Student of the Month for April is Bevan Buhler.Bevan is a grade twelve student who has maintained an above eighty average throughout his high school career and works a part time job as a waiter at Melrose Place. He is heavily involved in the school music program being part of choir, vocal jazz, concert band, marching and jazz band.Bevan has also been a member of Theatre Crew and played Rolf in his school production of The Sound of Music. Alongside his school interests, Bevan is an accomplished solo artist in both voice and piano and will be completing his Associate in Piano performance this June.Bevan will be attending the University of Saskatchewan this fall in the Department of Music majoring in Voice Performance.
