The Saskatoon Police Service, Major Crime Unit is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 39-year-old male. Wray Lyle Musqua (dob) 1970-12-12 is wanted for Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and firearms-related offenses in connection with a shooting which occurred on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at approximately 3:15 am in the 400 block of Vancouver Ave. North within the city of Saskatoon. The 21-year-old male victim remains in serious condition. Wray Lyle Musqua is described as approximately 5'11" in height, 150 lbs and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last known to have a "Mohawk style" haircut with short hair on the sides. Musqua has tattoos on his hands which include the word "OZZY." "AC/DC" is tattooed on his right forearm.
Investigators believe Musqua may have traveled to Yorkton as he has relatives and friends in the area.
Wray Lyle Musqua is considered armed and dangerous. The public is advised not to approach the suspect but to immediately contact the police.
Theft and damageOn June 5, 2010, Yorkton RCMP responded to a complaint of a theft and damaged property. This incident occurred at a residence on the 200 block of 2nd Ave. North within the city of Yorkton. Taken from the backyard of the property was a blue gazing ball lawn ornament. Also, the back window to the garage was damaged with what appeared to be a pellet gunshot.
Parked vehicle struckOn Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at approximately 2:00 pm, the Yorkton Municipal Detachment received a complaint of a vehicle being struck while parked in the Superstore parking lot. The damaged vehicle is a silver Dodge SX 2.0 and it sustained damage to the passenger side. The vehicle was parked by the cart housing near the center aisle of the store parking lot.
Collision with semiYorkton Rural RCMP, Yorkton Fire and EMS responded to a two vehicle collision with injuries that occurred at about 8:00 am on Wednesday July 7, 2010 10 km east of Yorkton, Sask on Hwy # 10. An eastbound vehicle sideswiped a westbound semi power unit. The driver and lone occupant of the eastbound vehicle was extracted with the Jaws of Life. The seriousness of the injuries are not known at this time. The driver of the semi power unit was not injured.
Hit and runThe Yorkton Rural RCMP are asking for the public's assistance with a hit-and-run that occurred sometime in the early morning of Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Saltcoats. A vehicle that was parked on Crescent Lake Road was struck and received extensive front end damage. The suspect vehicle fled.
It is believed that the suspect vehicle is black or dark in color with extensive front end damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle. This suspect vehicle is also believed to be involved in another single vehicle collision south of Saltcoats on the Atwater Grid. Currently there are no suspects.
