Attend the Grand Opening of the reconstructed Bell Barn at Indian Head, Sask. on Saturday, July 24, at 1:00 p.m. Where: Round barn, one mile north of Indian Head, on Hwy 56. The barn ruins were dismantled in 2008, and reconstruction started in 2009.The reconstructed barn will serve as an Interpretive Centre to tell the story of the Bell Farm, Major Bell, and dryland farming on the Canadian prairie.The fundraising program has been exceptionally well received, but about $200,000 more is needed to finish paying for the work.
