David & Tanis (Nielsen)Edwards and children, Denae & Del have returned to Canada after a three year posting in Europe... one year in Naples, Italy and 2 years in Kreuzrath, Germany where Dave worked on the Nato bases. They have moved to Nanaimo, BC where Dave will be working in Comox. We are happy to report that Denae graduated from grade 12 at the Rolduc Abbey with honors. She will be attending university in Nanaimo. Del completed his grade 9 while in Europe. Denae & Del have been vacationing with their grandparents, Audrey & Peter Nielsen in Dubuc and at Sunset Beach, Crooked Lake. Murray Nielsen and daughters, Kassidy, Ellyssa, & Tarra from North Battleford have also been visiting with all of them. All the grandchildren enjoyed a nice supper visit with Great Grandma Cis Nielsen from Morris Lodge in Bangor.

Marvin & Diane Horachek have had her daughter, Marnie & Del and children, Kaylee & Brendan from Calgary visiting with them at Dubuc and camping at Sunset Beach.

Thirty people enjoyed delicious carrot birthday cake and free cuppa's when Bob Davies celebrated his birthday on Sat., July 24 at coffee row. Congratulations to Bob who turned a whoppin' 90 years old.

A special local guest was Bob's aunt, Mary Ramstead, who herself celebrated a 90th birthday in April.

Out of towners were Darlene & Stew Stevenson and Barbara Croswell of Stockholm, Margie & Ed Oldham and grandson William and Dayna Markwart all of Regina and making a return to coffee row from Esterhazy were John and Judy Talbot. In the afternoon, Bob also enjoyed company including Morgan & Susan Griffith and Rudy & Ivadelle Appel from Bangor.

Norman, Debbie & Jackie Johnson and friend, Jordan Sies, attended Debbie's niece's (Arlene's daughter) wedding in Edmonton.

Harvey & Marian Arnott from Swan Hills, AB were visitors with his sister, Marvin and Diane Horachek.Victor Arnott of Esterhazy was also a visitor with his children.

Lance & Sherry Skene, Calgary and his daughter, Annette Rasmussen & Corrie Smoly and children, Emma & Hunter, Regina were visitors with the Clarence & Irene Andersen cousins at Sunset Beach on Sunday afternoon. Dorothy Skene from Yorkton also called to visit with them all. Lance was home on holidays and was able to attend the graveside memorial for his sister, Ina Skene on July 22 at the Yorkton City Cemetery. Other relatives attending included Linda Ungar, Tertia & Delaney Topliss of Regina, Haley Topliss of Balgonie, Darla (Talbot) Bailey of Hazlet, Betty Huber of Ketepwa Beach, and Janey Huber, Toronto. Attending from Dubuc were Lanny Topliss, Vivian & James Talbot and from Yorkton, Dorothy Skene and Christine Topliss. Later, Betty, Janey and Chris visited with Ed Skene at the Yorkton nursing home and Dorothy, Lance and Sherry attended the BBQ supper as Ed's guests that same day.

Joe & Leona Kaczur recently traveled to Saskatoon to attend graduation ceremonies for granddaughter Kirsten Kaczur, daughter of Wayne & Bernie, who received a diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology from SIAST's Kelsey Campus. En route they stopped in Lanigan to visit niece, Crystal (Bleau) Bjola and family. Joe & Leona also took in the Esterhazy Grade 12 graduation for grandson, Colton Kaczur (Wayne's) and granddaughter Melanie Kaczur (Ken's). Other family home for the grad were Lynn and Heather Bialas of Onanole, MB and Candice and Dan Oremba and family of Regina.
