York Colony Quilter’s Guild Meetings start Wed., Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Western Development Museum. All quilting, sewing & crafting fans invited and bring a friend. Meetings continue each Wednesday thereafter.

The Norquay Horticultural Show was held at the Norquay Communiplex on August 12. A total of 13 exhibitors submitted 227 entries for the event which was judged by Karen Leis of Runnymede, a qualified Saskatchewan Horticultural Association judge.

A Preeceville woman is completing a university course requirement working to the end of the year as a practicum student at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute.

Two persons new to the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute this year are a mother who is a teacher, and her daughter, who is working as an educational assistant.
