BUCHANAN - Buchanan Library commemorated its 45 years in the community with a celebration at the Buchanan Community Center on Oct. 15.
Lynne Harley, life coach and author, spoke to the audience about her reasons for writing If Only You Could and shared some of the highlights and fears she had experienced when completing her recent bike ride across Canada.
Jill Olynyk, Buchanan Library board member, reported that the celebration also included “displays of beautiful quilting, art work and indigenous mittens and bead work by local artisans.”
Desserts and beverages were served and door prizes won.
“A very enjoyable event for a very worthy milestone!” concluded Olynyk.
