There seems to be a lot of talk lately about the first 100 days in office, which was top of mind for Glen Suitor’s press coverage on the SportsCage on Tuesday.
I’m Dave Thomas, and despite Stewart Johnston not officially taking over as the Canadian Football League Commissioner, his first days on the job will be important. Our Glen Suitor offered the new Commissioner a three-point priority plan on the SportsCage, including an idea that fans will love.
“How do we lower the total number of penalties? “That has to be a collaborative effort with all the teams, general managers, coaches, players, the league office, and the head of officiating.”
Suitor added, “How do we go from 12 or 13 penalties a game to three or four each team in an entire game? Nothing stops the flow of the game more than too many penalties.”
