Regina is expected to see a warm-up in the coming days, which could lead to some melting snow.

REGINA - After experiencing temperatures feeling close to -40 C over the weekend, the City of Regina is expecting temperatures to rise in the coming days. 

, Regina will see a high of -4 C on Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to continue hovering around that mark for the remainder of the week. The reason for the warm-up is air coming from the Pacific that will bring above-average temperatures to the prairies.

On average, the daytime high for Regina in January is -11 C, which is the coldest month in the city.
