REGINA - It's already been a busy day for residents and city crews as the City of Regina was blasted with its second winter storm of the week.
The storm started in the late afternoon on Saturday and continued over to the early morning on Sunday.
As of Sunday at 2:30 p.m., a snowfall warning for Regina is still in effect by Environment Canada. Weather models suggested the city would be hit with between 15 to 25 centimetres of snow.
has said high-priority roads have been cleared, and they'll continue to work on roadways to ensure the safety of drivers.
As for the highways around the city, the Trans-Canada Highway is listed as "covered" east of Regina. The major highway west of the city is listed as "partly covered,"
Meanwhile, Highway 11 is "partly covered," while Highway 6 is either "covered" or "partly covered," depending on the area.
