REGINA - Police are investigating following a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Regina.
On Sept. 30 at approximately 1 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of Albert Street and 1st Avenue for the report of a vehicle incident.
Information received indicated that a crossing pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
Police arrived to the intersection and located an injured man, who was attended to by EMS and transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers located the driver of the vehicle, who had remained on scene.
Police temporarily blocked northbound traffic to investigate the collision.
This incident is still under investigation. It has not yet been determined what charges, if any, will result pending the outcome of this investigation.
