SWIFT CURRENT - Update, Nov. 6, 1:03 p.m.: Three people have been killed in a two-vehicle collision near Swift Current.
On Nov. 5 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Swift Current Rural RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 4 near the intersection of Highway 363. The collision occurred approximately six kilometres south of Swift Current.
Officers responded, along with local fire and EMS. Investigation determined a southbound SUV and northbound car collided. The driver and two passengers in the car were declared deceased at the scene. They have been identified as a 41-year-old female, a 14-year-old female and a 13-year-old female, all from the Swift Current Rural RCMP Detachment area. Their families have been notified.
The adult male driver and sole occupant of the SUV was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Swift Current Rural RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
Highway 4 was closed but has been reopened.

Swift Current RCMP responded to a report of a serious collision involving two vehicles on Highway 4, about four kilometers south of Swift Current.
