WEYBURN - An Anti-Racism flag raising was held at Weyburn City Hall on March 25. The group Â鶹´«Ã½AVeast Advocates Inc.and City of Weyburn staff hosted the flag raising to honour Anti-Racism Day that is recognized by the Federal Government.
According to a city memo the flag is titled "Share Your Heart," and according to a city memo it was created by Jenny Nguyen, an eight -year-old Vietnamese child from Weyburn, who wanted to express her vision of a world without racism. The design features hands cradling the Earth, symbolizing unity and care, alongside a red heart with the message "Love sees no color,” surrounded by diverse individuals standing together.
