ASSINIBOIA - A successful Trade Show was hosted by the Assiniboia and District Chamber of Commerce on April 22 and 23. According to Nicole Batty, executive director of the chamber, there were lots of positive feedback from the vendors and those who attended the Trade Show.
“The vendors thought they did very well at the event,” said Batty. She added that the Chamber got the number of vendors they were hoping for, when they announced that registration was available.
“We also got more people who attended this year’s Trade Show, than what we had recorded in 2018,” added Batty. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Trade Show had been postponed in 2020, as it is normally a bi-annual event.
It was positive to have over 750 people attend the Trade Show this year, as the Chamber was uncertain how many people would feel comfortable attending.
The Assiniboia and District Chamber is already starting to plan for the 2024 Trade Show.
