Daryl Dubuc and daughter Brittany travelled to Estevan on Feb. 27, where they visited with family members Natalie, Avery and Asher Rhett Vern, who arrived safe and sound on Feb. 21. Congratulations to everyone and enjoy the little fella.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Margaret and Brian Peet on the death of her sister, Pauline Graggs, who passed away in Regina on Feb. 27 at the age of 65 years. She will be remembered by her mother Claire Germain, daughters Nichole and Judy, four grandchildren, sisters Diane, Edna and Margaret, and brothers Maurice, Claude and Bryant. She was predeceased by her father Ross, husbands Charles Klaus and Barry Craggs, and sister Isabelle Barker. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Sincere sympathy is also extended to the Couture family on the death of Priscille on March 4 in her 85th year. She will be missed by her husband, Gilbert, son Laurent (Loree), daughters Denise, Claudette (Daniel) LeNouail, Diane (David) Kelly, Coralie (Wayne) Laturnas and 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandson Johnathon Couture.
The Coutures farmed in the RM of Reciprocity until they retired to Redvers in 2004. Funeral mass will be held in Redvers on March 12 with burial at Cantal Cemetery. Condolences are extended to all other family members.
I do believe that March came in like a lamb, and that should mean an early spring. I’m so ready for the season change. Boy this last weekend sure played havoc with the snow – there’s more bare spots than snow spots now, and I’m not sorry to see the snow disappearing. However I do know that we are in desperate need of moisture, what run-off we are going to get isn’t going to be too much, and there are some farmers who are looking for water for their cattle, not a pleasant chore.
Next Wednesday it is St. Patrick’s Day – make sure you’re wearing green that day and have a great day. Happy St. Patty’s Day to everyone.  Â
