Scattered rainfall has not delayed harvesting operations very much, as many producers are out on the fields in southeast Saskatchewan. About 12 per cent of the crops are now combined and in the bins, with 12 per cent of the crops swathed or ready to straight-cut.
This is behind the five-year average for this time of year, as on average about 25 per cent of crops are combined.
Provincially, only six per cent of the harvest was combined, with eight per cent swathed or ready to be straight-cut.
