The Weyburn Credit Union will be marking the end of the school year and the beginning of summer holidays with their annual community appreciation event on Thursday, June 29.
The event will feature a barbecue, street carnival and entertainment by Weyburn band Private Drive, and will go from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held on Coteau Avenue in front of the Credit Union, with proceeds from the barbecue to be donated to the Family Place.
The cost will be $3 for a hamburger or hot dog, with chips and a drink included, and on the street there will be free children’s games and prizes.
