4-H kids learn about electrical safety on the farm

Members of the Cymri 4-H Club played a game provided by SaskPower to learn about electrical hazards in the farmyard and in the home, during a 4-H Farm Safety Day held on Saturday at the Weyburn Curling Rink.

Members of the Cymri 4-H Club played a game provided by SaskPower to learn about electrical hazards in the farmyard and in the home, during a 4-H Farm Safety Day held on Saturday at the Weyburn Curling Rink. The day was organized by the Cymri club, and was attended by a number of 4-H clubs from around the southeast region. Besides the safety speakers, there was a keynote speaker from a survivor of electrocution on a work crew building grain bins, and a demonstration was put on by First Responders and Weyburn EMS.
