The Weyburn Red Wings lost a heart-breaker in overtime on Sunday afternoon, as they dropped their final preseason exhibition game 4-3 against the Estevan Bruins at Crescent Point Place.
The Wings were first on the board with 24 seconds to go as Nick Dobson scored as he fell to the ice. Jakob Kalin made the score 2-1 in the second period, and Jacob Jakusz scored the Wings' third goal.
The Bruins tied up the score in the third period, sending it into overtime, and with just four minutes left in the first overtime period they scored the game-winning goal.
