Two New Zealand umpires recently attend provincials

ASSINIBOIA - Softball New  Zealand umpire exchange program, in partnership with Softball, Canada has recently brought two umpires to Canada.

These umpires recently attended the Senior Ladies Open Provincials in Moose Jaw, as the gold medal crew. The umpires will have completed three tournaments during their 39 day stay in Canada.

They started in Surrey, B.C. with Nicole Ogier attending the International Ladies Canada Cup and Sans Staiger attending the Futures U19 Girls Canada Cup.

After attending the Saskatchewan Senior Ladies Open Provincials, the umpires headed off to Saskatoon to umpire at the U17 Girls provincial tournament, scheduled for Tuesday, August 8. 

Marnie and Brent Chadwick hosted the two umpires during their Assiniboia stay.

They enjoyed seeing the sights of Saskatchewan in the short time they were here.
