WEYBURN – The Weyburn Comprehensive School announced that the McLeod Series basketball games slated for Tuesday evening has been postponed.
Principal Ryan Fowler said Estevan cancelled the games due to the road conditions.
The historic McLeod Series pits the senior boys and girls basketball teams from Weyburn and Estevan against each other, with a series of games in one city then in the other.
This year, the series was to start in Weyburn, with the boys games at 5 p.m. and the girls games at 7 p.m.
Fowler said it isn't known if or when the Weyburn games will be rescheduled.
The games for Estevan are still scheduled for Feb. 16.
