Rick Hallberg was the big winner at the 40th annual Molson Crocus Masters Tournament that was held at the Weyburn Golf Course.Hallberg won the championship flight with a two-day total of 142. Hallberg had a 74 in the first round, but rattled off a 68 in the second round to win by three strokes.Hallberg trailed first round leader Sean Bobinski by four strokes after the opening round.Bobinski finished second with a 145.Tanner White was third with a 146 (75-71) and Carter Hilkewich was fourth with a 148 (74-74).Other men's flight winners were: Mike Ross won the first flight with a 149; Tyrone Hollar won the second flight with a 161; Preston Shupe won the third flight with a 169; and Ken Ferguson won the fourth flight with a 179.Pat Murphy won the senior men's championship flight with a two-day total of 155 (77-78). Dennis Lizuck was second with a 164 (78-86). Bill Rudachyk was third with a 168 (85-83) and Lyman Sargent was fourth with a 169 (84-85). Daryl Hubich won the senior men's first flight with a 171 (88-83) and Frank Kaip won the second flight with a 196 (99-97).A total of 90 golfers competed in the tournament.
