SASKATOON - The Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League have announced that they have re-signed Estevan's Wyatt Haux to a one-year deal.
Haux spent the majority of last season on the Rush's practice roster. The 6'4", 220-pound defender captained Canada to gold at the 2019 World Junior Lacrosse Championship.
This summer, the former sixth-round pick has three goals and four assists, helping lead the Calgary Senior B Mounties to a 9-2 record, and leaving them in top spot in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Haux played lacrosse in Estevan for years before joining the Saskatoon Swat program.
The Rush also announced they had signed goaltender Laine Hruska to a one-year contract. Hruska, who hails from Warman, also played for the Swat.
The contracts are pending league approval.
